"Preservation (Phase I)"

I will stalk my prey
because of our needs.
And with a successful kill
because of the skillful honing
of my disguise, it will lull
my prey into a trance.
It is kingly and majestic,
earthly and magical, and
my appearance will cast
a spell long enough to be
victorious. The spirit within
will be victorious.
