"Waters of the Sea"

As I look out over the vast water, I wonder of the mysteries of its world unknown to me. Sometimes I can stand and look, for what seems like an eternity, wondering about things, thinking about the sky, the sun god, how the sky changes into so many different colors and faces, how the gull flies, soaring ever swiftly then downward to nourish its hunger . . .

In harmony, the Great Water abides in our world, saying many things to me, telling me how it feels, whispering to me of myself; announcing the storm or sunset……….

However quick or what may befall me, I feel my path may always be a part of the great water; for, I know that the eyes of Mother Africa are ever watchful over me, always there to show me the way.
