"The Animal, the Slave"

The animal, the slave: upright, walking on two as man - with a different tongue. A myriad of colors . . . , rusty, curly, kinky - soft, fine-hard hair. Pearly white teeth.

Slave, the animal. Bound in shackles. Looking away and downward with sad, sad, deep dark eyes - full of the wisdom of mother earth and the innocence of her, too.

The caged animal, the slave. Mule to many, sold like cattle to most, enduring a new land, all the more.
